Dr Laura Vanderbloemen is co-PI for the VinCohort Study, the longitudinal study of adults and their families of Vingroup employees, in collaboration with Vinmec Healthcare System.

Nhu Dinh Ngoc Anh (Andy NHU) is a globally award-winning English IELTS Teacher, EdTech researcher with an MA in TESOL (High Distinction) at Monash University Australia, under AAS – Australian Government Scholarship award.

Daniel Ruelle has been teaching English for over 15 years across many areas, focusing mainly on English for Academic Purposes and English for Specific Purposes.

Dr. Huynh Dinh Chien is a dedicated medical teacher who emphasizes medical care activities for poor communities, especially ethnic minorities in Central Vietnam.

Prior to his current appointment at VinUniversity, Wray Buntine was a full professor, foundation director of the Master of Data Science, and director of the Machine Learning Group at Monash University.

Dr. Jason A Picard is the Founding Assistant Professor of Vietnamese History and Culture. A historian of Southeast Asia by training, Dr. Picard received his PhD in History from the University of California, Berkeley and MA in Asian Studies from Cornell University.

Dr Huyen has more than 15 years teaching in nursing field. She was awarded prestigious scholarships of Australia and Vietnam to gain her Master and Doctoral Degree at the Queensland University of Technology, Australia.

Pranee is a medical anthropologist and has interests in the health of women, children, immigrants, refugees, older people, and transgender individuals. In terms of health issues, Pranee is very interested in issues relating to motherhood, reproductive health, sexuality, sexual health, mental health and chronic illnesses.

Dr (Jenny) Dung Le is an Assistant Professor in the College of Business and Management. Before joining VinUniversity, she has 10 years of teaching experience at various universities in Vietnam and Australia.

Ms Lien Trinh is currently a faculty member of the Faculty of Arts and Science, and a Student Counselor at VinUniversity. She teaches a GenEd course – Healthy Lifestyle, and a liberal arts elective course – Music Appreciation.

Amita Verma is the Director of Research Administration and Accreditation and Director of the newly formed Center for Learning Excellence at VinUniversity. Prior to coming to VinUniversity, she served as the Director of Research Integrity at Cornell University for several years.

Rohit Verma is currently on leave from Cornell University serving as the Founding Provost/Rector of VinUniversity, Hanoi (Vietnam). Prior to his current appointment, he was the Dean of External Relations for Cornell SC Johnson College of Business; Singapore Tourism Board Distinguished Professor; Executive Director for Cornell Institute for Healthy Futures; and Executive Director of Cornell Center for Hospitality Research.

Dung D. Le is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at College of Engineering and Computer Science, VinUniversity, Vietnam. He is a former senior data scientist in Ads and Personalization team, Grab Holdings Inc. and a former research scientist in School of Information Systems, Singapore Management University (SMU).

Dr. Pham Huy Hieu received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science at the Toulouse Computer Science Research Institute (IRIT), University of Toulouse, France in 2019. Previously, he earned his Degree of Engineer in Industrial Informatics from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam in 2015.

Tony Tin is the Director of Library and Learning Resource at VinUniversity. Prior to his VinUni appointment, Tony was the Director of Library at Renison University College and technical lead of the University of Waterloo’s mobile academic integrity app project which won the international e-learning Award in 2018 and the Canadian Network for Innovation in Education Award in Excellence and Innovation in the Technology Integration in 2019.

Kyunghwa Chung is an Assistant Professor of Marketing in the College of Business and Management. She earned her PhD in Fashion Merchandising from Seoul National University. Her research focuses on retailing with interests in the omnichannel consumer experience and retail technology in the retail service context.
